About Me

I’m a middle-aged expatriate American libertarian republican, temporarily living in Europe, offering up my own mix of ideas, questions, and opinions. I write by myself – an army of one – hence the title of my blog. I prefer to remain anonymous in order to separate my business and political interests.

I grew up in suburban Boston, majored in Mathematics in college and also earned an MBA. My background includes systems development, analysis, and marketing. I’ve held various positions including roles in market research, product and program management, and engineering management. In addition to writing I also do freelance web application and site development work.

I’m principled, but not doctrinaire, so every topic, person, and position is fair game. The objective is truth, which seems to be harder to find then ever.

One more thing – I have a love of jazz music in its many forms, which I inherited from my father. I hope you’ll listen to and enjoy my varied musical posts.
