For now the terms relate primarily to my comments policy.

Whether you agree or disagree with me, sharing your opinions with me and other readers is important, so please comment on my posts. They won’t appear immediately, as all comments and trackbacks are held for moderation. Note that I try to clear the comments queue as quickly as possible.

I won’t delete your comment, even if you disagree with me, unless it contains inappropriate content (you know what I mean – vulgarity, threats, discussion of illegal activities, hate speech, ad hominem attacks, etc. As many others have said, don’t include anything that you wouldn’t want your mother to read.)

I reserve the right to lightly edit comments if, in my judgment, this is necessary. If I do edit your comment I will do everything I can to ensure its meaning isn’t changed. Any edits will be accompanied by note at the end of your comment with an explanation of the change and why it was made. If you disagree with my edits, please send me an email using the contact form and I will delete your comment for you as soon as I can.
